Swinhoe's Storm-petrel on the pelagic 29 July 2021

What a great 1st day of pelagic expedition with Pterodromas visiting the chum quite early and finishing with an observation of Swinhoe's Storm-petrel! The next days were quite rough though the show of seabirds continued with many Bulwer's petrel Bulweria bulwerii and Cory's shearwater Calonectris borealis around.

29th of July 2021 - NE wind up to 8 knots swell from North up to 1.7 meters and waves from NE up to 0.8 meters which made the drift quite choppy!

30th of July 2021 - wind was around to 16 knots from NE with gusts reaching 20 the knots. The swell was up to 2.3 meters from NE and waves up to 1 meter from ENE - really rough!

>25 Fea's Petrel Pterodroma feae/deserta - 4 on the way up
Common Tern Sterna hirundo
Yellow-legged Gull Larus michahellis - lots of them!
Lesser Black-backed Gull Larus fuscus - at least 3

Atlantic Spotted dolphins Stenella frontalis

1st of August 2021 - NE wind up to 15 knots which then dropped to less than 4 knots, and waves from same direction up to 0.6 meters
