This was the pelagic trip with less wind so far this year but Wind Birds team managed to find the aimed birds! Only White-faced Storm Petrel was missed but in compensation we got great whales and dolphins encounters!

The first Zino's Petrel pelagic expedition of August 2012 already showed some vagrant birds as Wilson's storm petrel and Sooty shearwater but the later in the month the better it gets for birds on migration...

A great pelagic trip where good species of pelagic birds were seen though the White-faced petrel did not visited us this time... Well, that is birdwatching! But the 7 different species of seabirds observed during this windy sea expedition where very close to the boat and well photographed!

This Madeira Zino's Petrel Pelagic Expedition, by Wind Birds was very rewarding though a bit tiring as strong wind is what the seabirds love though it makes the trip a bit hard for us...
