What a wonderful day to tour around Madeira Nature! Despite observing most of Madeira breeding species, for land birds, here are some very interesting observations done during a full-day tour with Madeira Wind Birds:

On the 27th of April 2006

Udo Titz, Karin Avanzini (Austria) and Sónia Jesus (Madeira Wind Birds)

Seixal: 15 Long-toed Pigeon flying, 3 Canarian Kestrel

Fanal: 1 Long-toed Pigeon

Porto Moniz: 2 Cory's Shearwater and 2 Zino's Petrel or Fea's Petrel in the sea. Due to the date most probably Zino's Petrel.

Ponta do Pargo: 5 Canarian Kestrel, 1 Berthelot's Pipit, 3 Atlantic Canary
