Zino's Petrel Pelagic Expedition 2011 - August 4, 5 & 6th

One more Zino's Petrel Pelagic Expedition which has been a success, as all the target species were seen close by. These are the only real pelagic trips that are run in Madeira and the only trips where you get the chance to see all the breeding seabirds in Madeira archipelago and some vagrant birds as well.

5 Arctic Terns Sterna paradisaea - 2 flying east but far away and 4 flying west over the chum slick
1 Fea's Petrel Pterodroma feae/deserta on the chum
1 Wilson storm-petrel Oceanites oceanicus
