Lourenço was studying to be a priest though his passion for Nature has spoken louder and he became a mountain guide.

His main interest is the Laurel Forest with its flora species though after he joined Madeira Wind Birds he has already become an expert in Madeira's breeding birds. Lourenço is now the main guide of Madeira Wind Birds land tours.

Lourenço has decided to join Madeira Wind Birds to learn more, to have the opportunity to contribute for the respect and conservation of nature and to promote the environment and ecotourism.
