Some more bird news...This time from Funchal harbour and surroundings. Here is what was observed during a sea trip along Funchal coast and a short walking city tour with Madeira Wind Birds:

About 12 Cory Shearwaters Calonectris diomedea
2 Black-headed Gulls Larus ridibundus
In land, around Funchal harbour
Some Turnstones Arenaria interpres
About 20 Greenfinches Carduelis chloris - interesting concentration for a species that is not so usual to be observed in large numbers, specially in Funchal
1 Black-tailed Godwit Limosa limosa
