
Trocaz Pigeon
This option provides to the most serious nature lover, birdwatcher or florawatcher the opportunity to visit a great diversity of habitats, resulting in the observation of more species.
Travel between the different observation sites will be by car, and short walks will be made at each of the places. These walks are accessible to everybody and their purpose is to find different bird and flora species.
Predominant habitats of this tour are farm land, forest, coastal areas and water courses, allowing the observation of different steps of Laurel forest and a great number of passerines, birds of prey, waders and seabirds through seawatching.
The target birds on this tour are: Trocaz pigeon Columba trocaz, Spectacle Warbler Sylvia conspicillata orbitalis, Berthelot's Pipit Anthus berthelotti maderensis, Sparrowhawk Accipter nisus granti, Plain Swift Apus unicolor, the Canary Serinus canaria, Kestrel Falco tinnunculus canariensis and some vagrant birds.
This program lasts about 8 hours.

Tour days: Tuesdays & Saturdays from 9am to 5pm
Price per person, including lunch: €80. Children between 4 and 12 years old pay half price.
Friendly advices: A jacket is always useful for the altitude cold, a hat and a bottle of water.
